No. The skin analysis is completely non-invasive and requires no contact with your skin. The imaging device captures your skin through a combination of light spectrums while you are seated comfortably. There are no needles, no lasers, no chemicals, and no discomfort of any kind. Most patients describe the experience as simply sitting in front of a camera.
The imaging scan itself takes approximately 10 minutes. We then build in time for Dr. Hasan to walk you through your results and discuss what the findings mean for your skin. A full skin analysis consultation including results review and treatment discussion is typically 20 to 30 minutes total.
For the most accurate results, we recommend arriving with a clean face and no makeup, sunscreen, or heavy skincare products applied to the areas being analyzed. If you wear makeup daily, simply cleanse your face before your appointment. There are no other preparation requirements, and the procedure is walk-in ready with no recovery period afterward.
After your scan, Dr. Hasan reviews the imaging data personally and walks you through the findings. Based on what the analysis reveals, he will discuss treatment options that directly address your specific concerns, whether that includes Botox, fillers, chemical peels, PRP, microneedling, or other services in our aesthetic lineup.
